With Oxford Street to the east and Kensington to the south, its four miles of paths lead you to some of London's best shopping. Popular with Londoners as a venue for sport and for picnics, Hyde Park encompasses the Serpentine lake, where you can go boating or swimming. The park is also a focus of demonstrations and controversy at Speakers' Corner. The Household Cavalry pass daily for the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, south east of Hyde Park; relax outside Dell Restaurant and watch them and London's fitness enthusiasts pass by.

Nearest Tube/Main Line Stations
Paddington train station is within a two minute walk of the hotel and gives guests access to the Heathrow Express rail link. Paddington tube station is also located here and is on the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Bakerloo lines. Lancaster Gate on the Central line is also nearby.
