The Kapok Tree restaurant (Pan Asian Cuisine) is a great place to relax offering tables in the sunshine outside the front of the restaurant or within its specially designed interior of wooden floors, purple leather chairs, and slate walls. The floor to ceiling windows flood the restaurant with daylight and are a great place to unwind and do some people watching.
The Lane Bar is a chic lounge bar where guests can relax and enjoy excellent cuisine and the drink of your choice.
The hotel also offers a comprehensive room service between 07:00 and 23:00.
English or Continental breakfast can be purchased directly at the hotel for an additional charge.
Most famous for grisly stories of Jack the Ripper, Whitechapel is an exciting and colourful district of the East End. This multicultural area is home to the excellent contemporary Whitechapel Art Gallery, many beautiful mosques and synagogues and the Bell Foundry where Big Ben, Liberty Bell and the Bow Bells were all created. The Whitechapel market is also well worth a visit, offering a diverse array of wares from all cultures.
Aldgate East tube station, for the District and Hammersmith & CIty lines, is just a couple of minutes' walk away from the hotel.
