Dedicated as a Royal Park in 1536, Hyde Park is the largest of the London parks. With Oxford Street to the east and Kensington to the south, a stroll along the four miles of paths leads you to some of London's best shopping. Primarily designated as leisure ground - including the Serpentine boating lake - the park is also a focus of demonstrations and controversy at Speakers' Corner. The Household Cavalry pass daily for the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, south east of Hyde Park; relax outside Dell Restaurant and watch them and London's fitness enthusiasts pass by.

Nearest Tube/Main Line Stations
Paddington Station is within just a few minutes walk of the hotel giving guests superb access to Heathrow Airport via the Heathrow Express.
Directions
By Car: The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Paddington Station, approximately 0.5 mile from Bayswater and Hyde Park. It is 10 minutes from the M40 and A40(M) and 20 minutes from the city. Close to Edgware Road, Harrow Road, Bayswater Road, and Oxford St.
By Underground: There are three main stations close to the hotel: Paddington Mainline, Paddington Underground (Circle and District lines) and Lancaster Gate (central line).
By Air: From Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and London City Airports use either Airbus or underground to Paddington Station. The Hotel is a five minute walk from there.
By Rail: The Heathrow express runs from Heathrow Airport to Paddington station every 15 minutes - see www.heathrowexpress.co.uk for more details. Paddington is a 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel and Victoria, Waterloo, Charing Cross and Euston are all within one and a half miles (2.5km) of the hotel and are about 15 minutes by public transport.
